Notification No. 38/2024-Customs

G.S.R. ......(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act,
1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby
amends the following notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue),
published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), specified in column (2) of the
Table below, to the extent specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, namely: -

the date of importation or within such extended
period, not exceeding one more year, as the
Assistant Commissioner of Customs or Deputy
Commissioner of Customs, may allow”;
(B) in condition (iv), in clause (a), after the words
“six months”, the words “or one year, as the case
may be,” shall be inserted;
(II) in the second paragraph, for the figures, letters and words
