Complied AI lets a professional read an Act and ask questions about a specific section or part. You would own that Q&A: the retrieval, the prompting, the evaluation, and the judgement about when the model should answer and when it should not.
The bar here is different from a general chatbot. An answer about the law has to stay tied to the provision it came from. A confident, fluent, wrong answer is the worst thing we can ship, because someone might act on it. So grounding, citing the exact section, and saying 'I am not certain, here is the text, read it yourself' matter more than sounding smart. We would rather return less and be right.
The work spans the whole loop. Chunking and indexing statutory text that is deeply nested and cross-referenced. Building retrieval that pulls the right section and its neighbours. Writing prompts that keep the model inside the source. And, the part most people skip, building the evaluation that tells you whether a change made answers better or just different. You would also help decide where models genuinely help and where a plain lookup is the honest answer.
You have probably shipped retrieval or document Q&A that real people relied on, and you have opinions about embeddings, context windows, and where the current tooling lies to you. You do not need to know Indian law. You do need to respect that being wrong here has a cost, and to build like it.
