Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Complied AI handles information while providing statutory updates, source-law reading, contact, and section Q&A workflows.
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to Complied AI's website, statutory update pages, Act reading pages, contact workflow, and section Q&A workflow.
Complied AI offers account sign-in, and paid plans are planned. This policy covers the information handled by account authentication today and will be updated with billing, saved history, and payment details before paid plans go live.
Information you provide
We may handle information you choose to provide, such as account sign-in details (email address, and name where supplied by a social login), emails sent to us, correction notes, source requests, support requests, and any details included in those messages.
AI processing
When you use section Q&A, your question, recent chat messages, and the statutory section context needed to answer the question are sent to the AI service used by the product.
The current chat endpoint uses Google Gemini through the AI SDK. Do not paste confidential client files, personal data, privileged material, passwords, one-time passwords, API keys, financial account details, or private regulator correspondence into the chat unless you have authority to do so and understand the risk.
Technical data and preferences
Hosting, security, and framework logs may record technical information such as IP address, browser, device, requested URL, timestamp, error traces, and performance data. We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember interface preferences such as theme or sidebar state. See the Cookie Policy for the full list. We also use PostHog product analytics in its EU cloud region to understand how the product is used; we do not use analytics data for advertising.
How we use information
We use information to operate the product, answer support and correction requests, improve source coverage, debug errors, prevent abuse, maintain security, and understand whether the product is useful for statutory research workflows.
Sharing
We may share information with service providers that help run the product, including hosting, email, PostHog for product analytics in its EU cloud region, error monitoring if added later, and AI processing providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the product, or to respond to lawful requests.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures for a product of this stage and scope, but no website, hosting provider, model provider, email system, or network transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required for security, legal, accounting, or operational reasons. When saved history or paid plans are added, this policy will be updated with the relevant retention detail before those features go live.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of personal information you have provided to Complied AI, including closing an account you created, subject to applicable law and operational limits. Email hello@complied.ai with enough detail for us to locate the relevant information.
India privacy context
Complied AI is designed around Indian statutory research, so privacy obligations may include India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and related rules where they apply. This policy is a product notice, not a complete compliance opinion for every deployment, customer, or processing activity.
