नई ददल्ली, 10 फरवरी, 2025
का.आ. 693(अ).—भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अजधजनयम, 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 16 द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों
का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार का, भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो से परामिध करने के बाद यह मत है दक यह िनजहत आवश्यक
अथवा जहतकर है, अत: एतद् द्वारा जनम्नजलजखत आदेि करती है, नामत:-
1. संजिप्त िीर्धक और प्रारंभ.-(1) इस आदेि को स्ट्टेनलेस स्ट्टील पाइप और ट्यूब (गुणवत्ता जनयंत्रण) आदेि, 2025 कहा
िाएगा ।
(2) यह आदेि िासकीय रािपत्र में इसके प्रकािन की तारीख से लागू होगा।
2. मानक जिह्न का अजनवायध प्रयोग- ताजलका के कॉलम (2) में जवजनर्दधष्ट वस्ट्तुएं या सामान ताजलका के कॉलम (3) में
जवजनर्दधष्ट तदनुरूपी भारतीय मानक के अनुरूप होंगे तथा उन पर ताजलका के कॉलम (5) के अंतगधत संबंजधत प्रजवजष्ट में
जवजनर्दधष्ट जतजथ से भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो (अनुरूपता मूल्यांकन) जवजनयम, 2018 की अनुसूिी-II की स्ट्कीम-I के अनुसार
ब्यूरो के लाइसेंस के तहत मानक जिह्न लगा होगा।
बिते दक इस आदेि की कोई बात जनयाधत के जलए घरेलू स्ट्तर पर जनर्मधत वस्ट्तुओं या सामानों पर लागू नहीं होगी:

बिते दक इस आदेि में से कुछ भी स्ट्टेनलेस स्ट्टील पाइपों और ट्यूबों के जवजनमाधताओं द्वारा अनुसंधान और जवकास के
प्रयोिन के जलए प्रजत वर्ध आयाजतत पांि सौ दकलोग्राम सामानों या वस्ट्तुओं पर लागू नहीं होगी, िो इस ितध के अध्यधीन
है दक ऐसे आयाजतत सामानों और वस्ट्तुओं की वाजणजज्यक जबक्री नहीं की िाएगी और उन्द्हें स्ट्क्रैप के रूप में जनपटाया िा
सकता है तथा जवजनमाधता ऐसे सामानों या वस्ट्तुओं का वर्धवार ररकाडध रखेंगे और उसे केन्द्र सरकार को प्रस्ट्तुत करेंगे:
बिते यह भी दक इस आदेि में कुछ भी सामानों या वस्तुओं के जलए इस आदेि के प्रारंभ की तारीख से पहले ब्यूरो द्वारा
प्रमाजणत जवजनमाधता या ऐसे जवजनमाधता द्वारा, जिसने प्रमाणन के जलए ब्यूरो को आवेदन दकया है, घरेलू रूप से जवजनर्मधत
या आयाजतत सामानों या वस्ट्तुओं पर लागू नहीं होगा और ऐसे जवजनमाधता को ऐसे घोजर्त स्ट्टॉक को इस आदेि के
कायाधन्द्वयन की तारीख से छह महीने तक बेिने या प्रदर्िधत करने या बेिने का प्रस्ताव करने की अनुमजत होगी, िो इस
ितध के अध्यधीन है दक ऐसे जवजनमाधता ने ब्यूरो के समि इस आिय की घोर्णा की हो।
3. प्रमाणन और प्रवतधन प्राजधकरण – उि ब्यूरो, ताजलका के कॉलम (2) में जवजनर्दधष्ट वस्ट्तुओं या सामान के जलए प्रमाणन
और प्रवतधन प्राजधकरण होगा।
4. उल्लंघन के जलए पेनल्टी – इस आदेि के प्रावधानों का उल्लंघन करने वाले व्यजि को भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अजधजनयम,
2016 के प्रावधानों के तहत दंजडत दकया िाएगा।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 10th February, 2025
S.O. 693(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016
(11 of 2016), the Central Government, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, is of the opinion that it is
necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest, hereby makes the following order, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement. - (1) This order may be called the Stainless Steel Pipes and Tubes (Quality
Control) Order, 2025.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Compulsory use of Standard Mark. - Goods or articles specified in column (2) of the Table shall conform to the
corresponding Indian Standard mentioned in column (3) of the Table and shall bear the Standard Mark under a license
from the Bureau as per Scheme-1 of Schedule-II of the Bureau of Indian Standards (Conformity Assessment)
Regulations, 2018 from the date specified in the corresponding entry under column (5) of the Table:
Provided that nothing in this order shall apply to goods or articles manufactured domestically for export:

Provided further that nothing in this order shall apply for five hundred kilograms of goods or articles imported for the
purpose of research and development by manufacturers of stainless steel pipes and tubes per year with the condition
that such imported goods and articles shall not be sold commercially and can be disposed of as a scrap and the
manufacturer shall maintain a year-wise record of such goods or articles and furnish to the Central Government:
Provided also that nothing in this order shall apply to goods or articles domestically manufactured or imported before
the date of commencement of this order by the manufacturer certified by the Bureau or manufacturer who has applied
to the Bureau for certification and such manufacturer shall be permitted to sell or display or offer to sell such declared
stock up to six months from the date of implementation of this order with the condition that such manufacturer shall
made a declaration to this effect to the Bureau.
3. Certification and enforcement authority.- The Bureau shall be the certifying and enforcing authority for the
goods or articles specified in column (2) of the Table.
4. Penalty for contravention. — Any person who contravenes the provisions of this order shall be punishable under
the provisions of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016.
