आदेश
नई दिल्ली, 8 मई, 2026
का.आ. 2324(अ).— भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अधिनियम, 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 25 की उप-धारा (3) के साथ पठित धारा 16 की उप-धाराओं (1) और (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केंद्र सरकार का यह मत है कि जनहित में ऐसा करना आवश्यक अथवा हितकर है तथा केंद्र सरकार, ब्यूरो से परामर्श करने के पश्चात्, एयर कंडीशनर तथा इसके संबंधित पुर्जे, हर्मेटिक कंप्रेसर और टेम्परेचर सेंसिंग कंट्रोल (गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण) आदेश, 2019 में और संशोधन करने हेतु एतद्द्वारा निम्नलिखित आदेश जारी करती है, नामतः–
- (1) इस आदेश का संक्षिप्त नाम एयर कंडीशनर और इसके संबंधित पुर्जे, हर्मेटिक कंप्रेसर और टेम्परेचर सेंसिंग कंट्रोल (गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण) संशोधन आदेश, 2026 होगा।
(2) यह आदेश राजपत्र में इसके प्रकाशन की तारीख से प्रभावी होगा।
- एयर कंडीशनर तथा इसके संबंधित पुर्जे, हर्मेटिक कंप्रेसर और टेम्परेचर सेंसिंग कंट्रोल (गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण) आदेश, 2019 के पैरा 2 में, आठवें परंतुक के पश्चात् निम्नलिखित परंतुक अंतर्विष्ट किए जाएंगे, नामतः–
“बशर्ते यह भी कि यह आदेश, नीचे दी गई तालिका के कॉलम (1) में विनिर्दिष्ट माल या वस्तुओं पर, एयर कंडीशनिंग एवं प्रशीतन उपकरण तथा इससे संबंधित भागों के किसी निर्माता द्वारा अपने विनिर्माण प्रयोजनों के लिए आयात किए जाने की स्थिति में, एयर कंडीशनर और इसके संबंधित पुर्जे, हर्मेटिक कंप्रेसर और टेम्परेचर सेंसिंग कंट्रोल (गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण) संशोधन आदेश, 2026 के प्रकाशन की तिथि से लेकर 31 मार्च, 2027 तक, उक्त तालिका के कॉलम (2) में विनिर्दिष्ट मात्रा तक लागू नहीं होगा, अर्थात्:–”

| प्रशीतन, वातानुकूलन तथा हीट पंप एप्लीकेशनों में उपयोग हेतु, दो टन प्रशीतन क्षमता एवं उससे अधिक निर्धारित क्षमता वाले स्थिर गति तथा परिवर्तनीय गति (इन्वर्टर) के स्क्रॉल एवं रोटरी हर्मेटिक कंप्रेसर। | वित्त वर्ष 2024–25 के दौरान आयातित माल या वस्तुओं की कुल मात्रा के 90 प्रतिशत तक। |
| परिवर्तनीय रेफ्रिजरेंट प्रवाह वातानुकूलन प्रणाली हेतु, दो टन प्रशीतन क्षमता एवं उससे अधिक निर्धारित क्षमता वाले रोटरी हर्मेटिक कंप्रेसर। | वित्त वर्ष 2024–25 के दौरान आयातित माल या वस्तुओं की कुल मात्रा के 100 प्रतिशत तक। |
नोट:– निर्माता, तालिका के कॉलम (1) में विनिर्दिष्ट माल या वस्तुओं का मासिक रिकार्ड तैयार करेगा तथा उसे अपने अधिकृत हस्ताक्षरकर्ता द्वारा हस्ताक्षरित अपने पत्रशीर्ष पर संबंधित प्राधिकारियों को प्रस्तुत करेगा और साथ ही उक्त माल या वस्तुओं के स्वदेशीकरण के लिए एक आयोजना भी केंद्र सरकार को प्रस्तुत करेगा।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 8th May, 2026
S.O. 2324(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 16 read with sub-section (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary so to do in the public interest and after consulting the Bureau, hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Air Conditioner and its related Parts, Hermetic Compressor and Temperature Sensing Controls (Quality Control) Order, 2019, namely:–
- (1) This Order may be called the Air Conditioner and its related Parts, Hermetic Compressor and Temperature Sensing Controls (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2026.
(2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
- In the Air Conditioner and its related Parts, Hermetic Compressor and Temperature Sensing Controls (Quality Control) Order, 2019, in paragraph 2, after the eighth proviso, the following provisos shall be inserted, namely: –
“Provided also that this Order shall not apply to Goods or articles specified in column (1) of the TABLE below, imported by a manufacturer of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment and related parts for the purposes of its own manufacturing, up to 31st March, 2027, to the volume specified in column (2) of the said TABLE, from the date of publication of the Air Conditioner and its related Parts, Hermetic Compressor and Temperature Sensing Controls (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2026, namely:–

Note: - The manufacturer shall maintain monthly record of Goods or articles specified in column (1) of the TABLE and furnish the same to the authorities concerned in their letter head signed by its authorised signatory and shall also submit a plan for indigenisation of Goods or articles to the Central Government.
