का.आ. 3557(अ).—केंद्रीय सरकार, भारतीय मानक ब् यूरो अजधजनयम, 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 17 और
धारा 25 की उप-धारा (3) के साथ पठित धारा 16 की उप-धारा (1) और (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए,
भारतीय मानक ब् यूरो से परामिश के पश्चात्, जिसकी यह राय है दक, लोकजहत में ऐसा करना आवश्यक या समीचीन है,
कपास गांिें (क् वाजलटी जनयंत्रण) आदेि, 2023 का संिोधन करने के जलए जनम्नजलजखत आदेि करती है, अथाशत्:
1. (1) इस आदेि का संजिप्त नाम कपास गांिें (क् वाजलटी जनयंत्रण) संिोधन आदेि, 2023 है।
(2) यह रािपत्र में इसके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रवृत होगा।
2. कपास गांिें (क्वाजलटी जनयंत्रण) आदेि, 2023 के पैरा 1 के उप- पैरा (2) के स्ट्थान पर, जनम्नजलजखत उप-पैरा रखा
िाएगा, अथाशत:-
“(2) यह तारीख 27 नवम्बर, 2023 को प्रवृत्त होगा।”।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 7th August, 2023
S.O. 3557(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 16 read with
section 17 and sub-section (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central
Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest and after consulting the
Bureau of Indian Standards, hereby makes the following order to amend the Cotton Bales (Quality Control) Order,
2023, namely:-
1. (1) This Order may be called the Cotton Bales (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2023.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Cotton Bales (Quality Control) Order, 2023, in paragraph 1, for sub-paragraph (2), the following sub-
paragraph shall be substituted, namely:-
“(2) It shall come into force on the 27th day of November, 2023.”.
