प्रदिया के अिुसार दकया िाएगा।

ब्यूरो से लाइसेंस प्राप्त करिे/लाइसेंस के दायरे में पररितचि करिे के प्रयोिि से, जिजिमाचता, जिद्युत उपकरण (गुणित्ता
जियंत्रण) आदेि, 2020 और समय-समय पर दकए गए उत्तरिती संिोधिों में यथोजल्लजखत अिुरूपता मूल्यांकि स्ट्कीम के
अंतगचत भारतीय मािक ब्यूरो द्वारा पररभाजित प्रदिया के अिुसार लाइसेंस के दायरे कों ध्याि में रखते हुऐ, उत्पाद श्रंखला /
रेंि अथिा समूह के संबंध में प्रजतदिच की न्यूितम संख्या सुजिजित करके परीक्षण ररपोटच / प्रमाणपत्र आदद सजहत तकिीकी
फाइल के साथ भारतीय मािक ब्यूरो को आिेदि करेगा |

3. उत्पाद समूहि
3.1 उपकरण (उपकरणों) की उत्पाद-श्रंखला: इलेक्ट्रो-मैकेजिकल कंरोल सर्कचट जडिाइस अथिा उपकरणों या जस्ट्िचर्ंग तत्िों
का एक समूह, िो जस्ट्िर्जगयर और कंरोलजगयर के जियंत्रण, जसग्नचलंग, इंटरलॉककंग, आदद के जलए अजभप्रेत है। िैसा दक
IS/IEC 60947-5-1: 2016 के 4.2.1 और 4.2.2 में पररभाजित दकया गया है; जिसे अिुलग्नक-I में ताजलका ‘अ’ में
उजल्लजखत िगीकरण के तहत अजद्वतीय जििेिता(ओं) के संयोिि के साथ एक जिजिष्ट प्रकार के िामकरण के रूप में संदर्भचत
दकया िाता है।
4. िमूिाकरण और परीक्षण
4.1
िमूिाकरण और परीक्षण: प्रत्येक उत्पाद श्रंखला के जलए टाइप परीक्षण जिम्नांदकत अिुसार होगा:
4.1.1 प्रत्येक उत्पाद श्रंखला के जलए, कंरोल सर्कचट जडिाइस के जलए टाइप परीक्षण ररपोटच अथिा सभी प्रर्ालि जिष्पादि
मािदंडों को पूरा करिे िाली अजधकतम कायों और जिन्यास (कॉजऩ्िगरेिि) के साथ जस्ट्िचर्ंग तत्िों का परीक्षण दकया िाएगा।
िमूिे (िमूिों) ि िमूिे (िमूिों) का परीक्षण आईएस/आईईसी 60947-5-1: 2016 के खंड 8.3.1 के अिुसार होिे र्ाजहए।
4.1.2 टाइप परीक्षणों को परीक्षण अिुिमों की संख्या में एक साथ समूजहत दकया गया है। परीक्षण प्रत्येक परीक्षण अिुिम
में पररभाजित अिुिम और प्रयोज्यता के अिुसार दकया िाएगा। िैसा दक आईएस/आईईसी 60947-5-1: 2016 के खंड
8.3.1 में पररभाजित दकया गया है। जिजिमाचता के अिुरोध पर एक से अजधक परीक्षण अिुिम या सभी परीक्षण अिुिम एक
ही प्रजतदिच पर दकए िा सकते हैं। हालांदक, ये परीक्षण उपयुचक्त प्रत्येक प्रजतदिच के जलए ददए गए अिुिम में दकए िाएंगे।
िोट: स्ट्पेयर, सहायक उपकरण और उप-संयोिि उपकरण का अजभन्न अंग होते हैं। उिका परीक्षण यथासंभि उपकरण के
साथ दकया िाएगा। (र्ूंदक स्ट्पेयर और उप-संयोिि जडिाइस का अजभन्न अंग होते हैं, इसजलए इिके अलग से परीक्षण की
पररकल्पिा िहीं की गई है; परीक्षण करते समय सहायक उपकरणों का उपयोग दकया िाए)।
यदद सहायक उपकरण दकसी अन्य मािक (आईएस/आईईसी 60947 श्रंखला) की आिश्यकता का अिुपालि कर रहे
हैं, तो यह आिश् यक है दक सहायक उपकरण संबंजधत भारतीय मािकों की आिश्यकताओं को पूरा करें।
4.1.3 प्रत्येक उत्पाद रेटटंग/दकस्ट्में परीक्षण के अधीि िहीं हैं। उत्पाद के िमूिे िैसा दक पैरा 4.1.1 में उल्लेख दकया गया
है, इस समूहीकरण ददिाजिदेिों के आधार पर लाइसेंस के दायरे के तहत समाि या िीर्े रेटटंग िाले सभी उत्पाद रेटटंग /
दकस्ट्मों को किर करेगा।
4.1.4 एक ही प्रकार के जियंत्रण सर्कचट उपकरणों या जस्ट्िचर्ंग तत्िों के जलए बहु-परीक्षणों को कम करिे के जलए, जिम्नजलजखत
सरलीकरत परीक्षण प्रदिया का उपयोग दकया िाएगा:
क) परीक्षण अिुिम I के जलए (8.3.1 आईएस/आईईसी 60947 5-1:2016 के अिुसार): कंरोल सर्कचट जडिाइस जििमें
समाि जिमाचण िाले जस्ट्िचर्ंग तत्िों के कई कॉजऩ्िगरेिि दकए िा सकते हैं, उिमें जस्ट्िचर्ंग तत्िों की अजधकतम संभि
संख्या के साथ प्रजतदिच परीक्षण दकया िाएगा।
उदाहरण: एक र्ार ध्रुिीय कंरोल सर्कचट जडिाइस जिसमें 4NO, 3NO+1NC, 2NO+2NC, 1NO+3NC, 4NC आदद
कॉजऩ्िगरेिि दकए िा सकते हैं; का परीक्षण अजधकतम कठोरता के साथ दकया गया (सभी जस्ट्िचर्ंग तत्ि िो एक साथ बंद
हो सकते हैं) में अन्य सभी कॉजऩ्िगरेिि िाजमल होंगे।
ख) अन्य परीक्षण अिुिम के जलए (8.3.1 आईएस / आईईसी 60947 5-1: 2016 के अिुसार): मेककंग एंड ब्रेककंग क्षमता
परीक्षण क्षमता परीक्षण और िॉटच सर्कचट परीक्षण करिे के जलए: परीक्षण एकल-ध्रुि तत्ि पर या बहु-ध्रुि उपकरण के
एक ध्रुि पर दकए िाएंगे बिते दक सभी ध्रुि तत्ि संरर्िा और प्रर्ालि में समाि हों।
ग) यदद जियंत्रण सर्कचट उपकरणों या जस्ट्िचर्ंग तत्िों के मामले में एक से अजधक उपयोग श्ेणी का दािा करिे के जलए
जर्जनित दकया गया हो, तो सबसे करठि पररजस्ट्थजतयों में अजधक उपयोग का परीक्षण दकया िाएगा। एसी और डीसी
उपयोग श्ेणी दोिों के साथ जर्जनित जियंत्रण जस्ट्िचर्ंग तत्िों को एसी के साथ-साथ डीसी आपूर्तच के जलए अलग से
परीक्षण दकया िाएगा।

घ) 50 हट्िच पर दकए गए परीक्षण को मािा िाएगा दक इसमें 60 हट्िच अिुप्रयोग और जिलोमतः िाजमल है।
ड.) एकल उपयोग श्ेणी के जलए कई रेटेड प्रर्ालि िोल्टेि (Ue) और रेटेड प्रर्ालि धाराओं (Ie) के मामले में; उच्चतम
VA के साथ रेटटंग पर मेककंग एंड ब्रेककंग क्षमता परीक्षण दकए िाएंगे (Ue x Ie)।
र्) जिजभन्न टर्मचिल जडजाइिों के साथ दकए गए परीक्षण। िहां कंरोल सर्कचट जडिाइस या जस्ट्िचर्ंग तत्ि को जिजभन्न
जडजाइिों के टर्मचिल के साथ प्रदाि करिे के जलए जडजाइि दकया गया है, िहााँ अजतररक्त परीक्षण ि परीक्षणों को
परीक्षण अिुिम(sequence) I (आईएस/आईईसी 60947 5-1: 2016) के अिुसार, क्ट्लीयरेन्स और िीपेि दूरी
(आईएस/आईईसी 60947-5-1: 2016 के खंड 7.1.4) यदद लागू हो, के मापि के साथ दकया िाएगा।
छ) संकेतक रोििी और संकेतक टािरों के जलए, उच् र्तम रेटेड िजक्त िाले प्रजतदिों पर दकए गए टाइप परीक्षणों में अन्य
सभी रेटटंग/दकस्ट्मों के टाइप परीक्षण िाजमल होंगे जििमें कम या बराबर रेटेड िजक्त है।
4.1.5 तथाजप, ताजलका ‘ब’, अिुलग्नक-II में उजल्लजखत मामलों के जलए, सभी प्रकार के परीक्षण आयोजित करिे की
आिश्यकता िहीं है; यदद लागू हो, तो लाइसेंस के दायरे के तहत इसे िाजमल करिे के जलए केिल र्यजित प्रकार के परीक्षण
दकए िाएंगे।

F. No. 8(1)/2018-HEI-Part (1).—Product Specific Guidelines for Low Voltage Switchgear and
Controlgear: Control circuit devices and switching elements – Electromechanical control circuit devices
conforming to IS/IEC 60947-5-1: 2016 under Electrical Equipment (Quality Control) Order and subsequent
amendments made from time to time.

This Product Specific Guidelines /sampling shall be used for the purpose of grant of licence /change in scope
of licence for Low Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear: Control circuit devices and switching elements –
Electromechanical control circuit devices conforming to IS/IEC 60947-5-1 : 2016 under Electrical Equipment (Quality
Control) Order, 2020 and subsequent amendments made from time to time and as per the procedure defined by Bureau
of India Standards, accordingly.

For purpose of obtaining the licence / change in scope of licence from the Bureau, Manufacturer shall apply to
Bureau of Indian Standards ascertaining the scope of licence and technical file including test reports(s) / certificates(s),
etc. as per the procedure defined by the Bureau of Indian Standards under the Conformity Assessment Scheme as
mentioned in the under Electrical Equipment (Quality Control) Order and subsequent amendments made from time to
time ensuring the minimum number of sample(s) in respect of a product series/range or group.
3. Product Grouping
3.1 Product series of equipment(s): A group of Electromechanical control circuit devices or switching elements
intended for controlling, signalling, interlocking, etc., of switchgear and controlgear. as defined in 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 of
IS/IEC 60947-5-1: 2016; referred to a particular type designation with a unique combination of feature(s) under
classification mentioned in Table A at Annexure -I.

4. Sampling and Testing
4.1. Sampling and Testing: The type test for each product series shall be as below:
4.1.1. For each product series, the type test report for control circuit device or switching elements with maximum
features and configurations satisfying all the operational performance criteria shall be tested. The tests and sample(s)
must be in accordance with the clause 8.3.1 of IS/IEC 60947-5-1: 2016.
4.1.2. Type tests are grouped together in number of test sequences, the test shall be done as per the sequence and
applicability defined in each test sequence as defined in 8.3.1 of IS/IEC 60947 -5-1 :2016. More than one test sequence
or all test sequences may be conducted on one sample at the request of the manufacturer. However, the tests shall be
conducted in the sequence given for each sample above.
Note- Spares, accessories and sub-assemblies are integral part of product series. They shall be tested as far as
possible with the equipment. (Spares and sub-assemblies being the integral part of the device, separate testing
is not envisaged; Accessories may please be used while testing.)
In case, the accessories are complying to the requirement of any other standard (IS/IEC 60947 series) then
accessories shall meet the requirements of the respective Indian Standards.
4.1.3. Each Product rating(s) / varieties may not be subjected to testing. Product samples as mentioned in para 4.1.4
will cover all the product rating(s) / varieties having ratings lower or equal under the scope of Licence is by virtue of
this grouping guidelines.
4.1.4
In order to reduce multiple testing for the same type of control circuit devices or switching elements, following
simplified test procedure shall be used:
a) For Test sequence I (as per 8.3.1 IS/IEC 60947 5-1:2016): In case of control circuit device having provision of
multiple configurations of switching elements having similar construction, then sample with maximum
possible numbers of switching elements shall be tested.
Example: A four pole control circuit device having provisions of configurations – 4NO, 3NO+1NC,
2NO+2NC, 1NO+3NC, 4NC etc.; tested with maximum severity (all switching elements that may be
simultaneously closed) shall cover all other configurations.
b) For other Test sequence(s) (as per 8.3.1 IS/IEC 60947 5-1:2016): For Making & Breaking Capacities Tests and
Short Circuit tests: Tests shall be carried out on a single-pole element or on one pole of a multi-pole device
provided that all pole elements are identical in construction and operation.
c) In case of control circuit devices or switching elements marked claiming more than one utilization category
then higher utilisation under the most severe conditions shall be tested. Control switching elements marked
with both AC & DC utilization category shall be tested separately for AC as well as DC supply.
d) Tests performed at 50 Hz are deemed to cover 60 Hz applications and vice versa.
e) In case of multiple rated operational voltages (Ue) & rated operational currents (Ie) for a single utilization
category; Making & breaking capacities tests will be conducted on the rating with highest VA (Ue x Ie).
f)
Tests performed with different terminal designs. Where control circuit device or switching elements is designed
to be provided with different designs of terminal, additional test(s) shall be done as per Test sequence I (IS/IEC
60947 5-1:2016) along with Measurement of clearances and creepage distances(7.1.4 of IS/IEC 60947-5-1:
2016), if applicable
g) For indicator lights and indicating towers, type tests conducted on samples with highest rated power will cover
all the other rating(s) / varieties having lower or equal rated power.
4.1.5 However, for cases as mentioned in Table B, Annexure-II, all type tests are not required to be conducted; if
applicable only selected type tests will be conducted for inclusion of the same under scope of licence.
