1. इस उत्पाद जिजिष्ट ददिाजनदेि / प्रजतदिच का उपयोग जिद्युत उपकरण (गुणित्ता जनयंत्रण) आदेि, 2020 के अंतगचत जनम्न
- िोल्टेि जस्ट्िर्जगयर और जनयंत्रण जगयर: आईएस/आईईसी 60947-5-5:2016 के अनुरूप जनयंत्रण सर्कचट जडिाइस और
जस्ट्िचर्ंग एजलमेंट्स: मैकेजनकल लैचर्ंग फंक्िन के साथ जिद्युत आपातकालीन स्ट्टॉप जडिाइस के जलए लाइसेंस प्रदान करने /
लाइसेंस के दायरे में पररितचन करने के उद्देश्य से और बाद में समय-समय पर दकए गए संिोधन और भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो
द्वारा तदनुसार पररभाजित प्रदिया के अनुसार दकया िाएगा।
2.
ब्यूरो से लाइसेंस प्राप्त करने/लाइसेंस के दायरे में पररितचन करने के प्रयोिन से, जिजनमाचता, जिद्युत उपकरण
(गुणित्ता जनयंत्रण) आदेि, 2020 और समय-समय पर दकए गए उत्तरिती संिोधनों में यथोजल्लजखत अनुरूपता मूल्यांकन

स्ट्कीम के अंतगचत भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो द्वारा पररभाजित प्रदिया के अनुसार लाइसेंस के दायरे कों ध्यान में रखते हुऐ,
उत्पाद श्रंखला / रेंि अथिा समूह के संबंध में प्रजतदिच की न्यूनतम संख्या सुजनजित करके परीक्षण ररपोटच / प्रमाणपत्र आदद
सजहत तकनीकी फाइल के साथ भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो को आिेदन करेगा |
3. उत्पाद समूहन
3.1 उपकरणों की उत्पाद श्रंखला:
मैकेजनकल लैचर्ंग फंक्िन के साथ जिद्युत आपातकालीन स्ट्टॉप जडिाइस या उपकरणों का एक समूह, िैसा दक IS/IEC
60947-5-5: 2016 के खंड 3.2 और 3.7 में पररभाजित है; एक जििेि प्रकार के जडजाइनेिन के रूप में संदर्भचत दकया
गया है, जिसे अनुलग्नक-I में ताजलका ‘अ’ में उजल्लजखत िगीकरण के तहत जििेिताओं का एक अजद्वतीय संयोिन है।
4. नमूनाकरण और परीक्षण
4.1 नमूनाकरण और परीक्षण: प्रत्येक उत्पाद श्रंखला के जलए टाइप परीक्षण जनम्नानुसार दकया िाएगा:
4.1.1 प्रत्येक उत्पाद श्रंखला के जलए, मैकेजनकल लैचर्ंग फंक्िन के साथ जिद्युत आपातकालीन स्ट्टॉप जडिाइस या उपकरण
और सभी प्रर्ालन जनष्पादन मानदंडों को पूरा करने िाली अजधकतम सुजिधाओं और जिन्यास (कॉजन्फगरेिन) का परीक्षण
दकया िाएगा। परीक्षण और प्रजतदिच आईएस/आईईसी 60947-5-5: 2016 के खंड 7 के अनुसार होने र्ाजहए।
नोट: स्ट्पेयर, सहायक उपकरण और उप-संयोिन उपकरण का अजभन्न अंग होते हैं। उनका परीक्षण यथासंभि उपकरण
के साथ दकया िाएगा। (र्ूंदक स्ट्पेयर और उप-संयोिन जडिाइस का अजभन्न अंग दपचण होते हैं, इसजलए इनके अलग से
परीक्षण की पररकल्पना नहीं की गई है; परीक्षण करते समय सहायक उपकरणों का उपयोग दकया िाए)।
यदद सहायक उपकरण दकसी अन्य मानक (आईएस/आईईसी 60947 श्रंखला) की आिश्यकता का अनुपालन कर रहे हैं,
तो यह आिश् यक है दक सहायक उपकरण संबंजधत भारतीय मानकों की आिश्यकताओं को पूरा करें।
4.1.2 प्रत्येक उत्पाद रेटटंग/दकस्ट्मों का परीक्षण नहीं दकया िा सकता है। पैरा 4.1.4 में उजल्लजखत उत्पाद के प्रजतदिच इस
समूहन ददिाजनदेिों के आधार पर लाइसेंस के दायरे में कम या बराबर रेटटंग िाले सभी उत्पाद रेटटंग/दकस्ट्मों के जलए होंगे।
4.1.3 आपातकालीन स्ट्टॉप जडिाइस या उपकरण के तीन समरूप नमूनों का र्यन दकया िाएगा और प्रत्येक नमूना
आईएस/आईईसी 7-60947-5-5: 2016 के खंड 7 में ददए गए िम में परीक्षणों के अनुिम की सफलता पर आधाररत
होगा।
िब एक से अजधक टाईप के आपातकालीन स्ट्टॉप जडिाइस एक ही मूल जडिाइन में जिजनर्मचत होते हैं, तो तीन से
कम समरूप नमूनों का परीक्षण दकया िा सकता है, बिते एक ही तरह के तीन से अजधक उत्पादों का परीक्षण
दकया िाए। इस तरह की स्ट्िीकरजत पूरी तरह से प्रलेजखत होगी।
4.1.4 आईएस/आईईसी 7-60947-5-5: 2016 के खंड 5 के अनुसार संबद्ध कांटैक्ट एजलमेंट के जलए जिद्युत
आिश्यकताओं को केिल आईएस/आईईसी 60947-5-1 के अनुसार परीक्षण दकए िाने की आिश्यकता है; और इसे
आपातकालीन रोक उपकरणों के साथ परीक्षण दकए िाने की आिश्यकता नहीं है। परीक्षण प्रदिया और नमूना र्यन आदद
को आईएस/आईईसी 60947-5-1 के संबंजधत संलग्नक में उजल्लजखत परीक्षण के साथ "आईएस/आईईसी 60947-5-1 के
जलए उत्पाद जिजिष्ट ददिाजनदेि" में अलग से पररभाजित दकया गया है।

F. No. 8(1)/2018-HEI-Part (1). - Product Specific Guidelines for Low Voltage Switchgear and
Controlgear: Control circuit devices and switching elements – Electromechanical control circuit devices with
mechanical latching function conforming to IS/IEC 60947-5-5 : 2016 under Electrical Equipment (Quality
Control) Order, and subsequent amendments made from time to time.

This Product Specific Guidelines /sampling shall be used for the purpose of grant of licence /change in scope
of licence for Low Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear: Control circuit devices and switching elements –
Electromechanical control circuit devices with mechanical latching function conforming to IS/IEC 60947-5-5 : 2016
under Electrical Equipment (Quality Control) Order, 2020 and subsequent amendments made from time to time and as
per the procedure defined by Bureau of India Standards, accordingly.

For purpose of obtaining the licence / change in scope of licence from the Bureau, Manufacturer shall apply
to Bureau of Indian Standards ascertaining the scope of licence and technical file including test reports(s) /
certificates(s), etc. as per the procedure defined by the Bureau of Indian Standards under the Conformity Assessment
Scheme as mentioned in the Electrical Equipment (Quality Control) Order, 2020 and subsequent amendments made
from time to time ensuring the minimum number of sample(s) in respect of a product series/range or group.
3. Product Grouping
3.1
Product series of equipment(s): A group of Electrical Emergency Stop Devices with mechanical latching
function, as defined in 3.2 and 3.7 of IS/IEC 60947-5-5: 2016; referred to a particular type designation with a unique
combination of feature(s) under classification mentioned in Table A at Annexure -I.
4. Sampling and Testing
4.1 Sampling and Testing: The type test for each product series shall be as below:
4.1.1
For each product series, type test report an Electrical Emergency Stop Device with mechanical latching
function with maximum features and
configurations satisfying all operational performance criteria shall be tested. The tests and sample(s) must be in
accordance with the clause 7 of IS/IEC 60947-5-5: 2016.
Note- Spares, accessories and sub-assemblies are integral part of product series. They shall be tested as far as
possible with the equipment. (Spares and sub-assemblies being the integral part of the device, separate testing
is not envisaged; Accessories may please be used while testing.)
In case, the accessories are complying to the requirement of any other standard (IS/IEC 60947 series) then
accessories shall meet the requirements of the respective Indian Standards.
4.1.2.
Each Product rating(s) / varieties may not be subjected to testing. Product samples as mentioned in para
4.1.4 will cover all the product rating(s) / varieties having ratings lower or equal under the scope of Licence is by
virtue of this grouping guidelines.
4.1.3 Three identical samples of emergency stop device shall be selected, and each sample shall be subjected
successfully to the sequence of tests, in the order given in clause 7 of IS/IEC 60947-5-5: 2016.
When more than one type of emergency stop device is manufactured to the same basic design, less than three
identical samples may be tested, providing that more than three products of the same family are tested. Such
an acceptance shall be fully documented.
4.1.4 Electrical requirements for associated contact elements as per clause 5 of IS/IEC 60947-5-5: 2016, only needs
to be tested as per IS/IEC 60947-5-1; and need not to be repeated with Emergency Stop Devices. Testing procedure
and sample selection etc. is separately defined in “Product Specific Guidelines for IS/IEC 60947-5-1” along with test
mentioned in respective Annex of IS/IEC 60947-5-1.
