आदेश
नई दिल्ली, 20 नवम्बर, 2025
का.आ. 5134(अ).— भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अधिनियम, 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 17 और धारा 25 की उपधारा (3) के साथ पठित धारा 16 द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार की राय है कि सार्वजनिक हित में ऐसा करना आवश्यक या समीचीन है और भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो से परामर्श करने के पश्चात, इस्पात और इस्पात उत्पाद (गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण) आदेश, 2024 को संशोधित करने के लिए एतद्द्वारा निम्नलिखित आदेश देती है, अर्थात:-
- संक्षिप्त शीर्षक और लागू होना - (1) इस आदेश को इस्पात और इस्पात उत्पाद (गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण) संशोधन आदेश, 2025 कहा जाएगा।
(2) यह शासकीय राजपत्र में इसके प्रकाशन की निर्दिष्ट तारीख से लागू होगा।
- इस्पात और इस्पात उत्पाद (गुणवत्ता नियंत्रण) आदेश, 2024 में–
(क) अनुसूची 1 में, क्रम संख्या 24, 37, 48, 55, 68, 69, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 79, 81, 82, 83, 87, 88, 90, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 101, 104, 105, 106, 107, 112, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 118, 119, 120, 123, 124, 125, 150 और 151 पर आईएस संख्या और आईएस शीर्षक का प्रवर्तन और उनसे संबंधित प्रविष्टियां राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से 3 वर्ष की अवधि के लिए लागू नहीं होंगी।
(ख) अनुसूची 1 में, क्रम संख्या 49, 50, 60, 64, 86, 92, 93, 94, 102, 128, 132, 135 और 137 पर आईएस संख्या और आईएस शीर्षक का प्रवर्तन और उनसे संबंधित प्रविष्टियां राजपत्र में प्रकाशन की तारीख से 1 वर्ष की अवधि के लिए लागू नहीं होंगी।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 20th November, 2025
S.O. 5134(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 read with section 17 and sub-section (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government is of the opinion that it is necessary or expedient so to do in the public interest, after consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards hereby makes the following order to amend the Steel and Steel Products (Quality Control) Order, 2024, namely: -
- Short title and commencement. - (1) This order may be called the Steel and Steel Products (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2025.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
- In the Steel and Steel Products (Quality Control) Order, 2024, -
(a) in Schedule 1, enforcement of IS Number and IS Title at serial numbers 24, 37, 48, 55, 68, 69, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 79, 81, 82, 83, 87, 88, 90, 95, 96, 97, 98, 99, 101, 104, 105, 106, 107, 112, 113, 114, 115, 116, 117, 118, 119, 120, 123, 124, 125, 150 and 151 and the entries relating thereto shall not be operative for a period of 3 years from date of publication in the gazette.
(b) in schedule 1, enforcement of IS Number and IS Title at serial numbers 49, 50, 60, 64, 86, 92, 93, 94, 102, 128, 132, 135 and 137 and the entries relating thereto shall not be operative for a period of 1 year from date of publication in the gazette.
