का.आ. 3456(अ).— िबदक, केंद्रीय सरकार ने लोकजित में और भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अजधजनयम, 2016 (2016
का 11) की धारा 16 द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों के तित, भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग 2, खंड 3, उप-खंड (ii) में लीजनयर
एल्काइल बेंिीन (गुणर्त्ता जनयंत्रण) आदेि, 2022 (जिसे इसके पश्चात उि आदेि किा िाएगा) का.आ. 1648 (अ) के तित
ददनांक 5 अप्रैल, 2022 को अजधसूजित दकया िै।
और िबदक, वैश्विक स्तर पर व्याप्त संकट को देखते हुए, केंद्र सरकार ने ब्यूरो के परामर्श से आपूर्तश श्रृंखला में व्यवधान
का सृंज्ञान श्वलया है और आश्वस्ट्त है कक लीश्वनयर एल्काइल बेंजीन की उपलब्धता सुश्वनश्वित करने के श्वलए, उक्त आदेर् के
सृंचालन को अस्थायी रूप से श्वनलृंश्वबत करना आवश्यक और समीिीन है;
अब, इसजलए भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अश्वधश्वनयम 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 25 की उपधारा (3) के साथ पठित
धारा 16 द्वारा प्रदत्त र्श्वक्तयों का प्रयोग करते हुए और यि राय रखते हुए दक लोकजित में ऐसा करना आर्श्यक िै, केंद्र
सरकार भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो से परामर्श करने के पश्चात उक्त आदेर् में श्वनम्नश्वलश्वखत सृंर्ोधन करती है, अथाशत्:-

(एक िुलाई, दो ििार छब्बीस से तीस जसतंबर, दो ििार छब्बीस तक) के जलए िब्द प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत दकए िाएंगे।

(ii) में का.आ. 1648 (अ) के तित तारीख 5 अप्रैल, 2022 को प्रकाश्वर्त ककया गया था और अृंश्वतम बार तारीख 30 माचश,
2026 की अश्वधसूचना का.आ. 1655(अ) द्वारा सृंर्ोश्वधत ककया गया था।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 25th June, 2026
S.O. 3456(E).— Whereas, the Central Government has published the Linear Alkyl Benzene (Quality Control)
Order, 2022 in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), vide S.O. 1648 (E), dated 5th
April, 2022 (hereinafter to referred as the said Order) in the public interest under and the powers conferred by section
16 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016);
And whereas, in view of the exigencies prevailing globally, the Central Government, in consultation with the
Bureau, has taken cognizance of the supply chain disruption and is satisfied that to ensure availability of the Linear
Alkyl Benzene, it is necessary and expedient to suspend the operation of the said Order temporarily;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 16 read with sub-section (3) of section 25 of the
Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), and being of the opinion that it is necessary so to do in the public
interest, the Central Government, after consultation with the Bureau of Indian Standards, hereby makes the following
amendment to the said Order, namely :-
In the Linear Alkyl Benzene (Quality Control) Order, 2022, in paragraph 2, in the proviso, for the 01.07.2026
to the 30.09.2026 (First July Two Thousand Twenty-Six to Thirty September Two Thousand Twenty-Six only) shall be
substituted.
