का.आ. 4277(अ).—भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो अजधजनयम, 2016 (2016 का 11) की धारा 25 की उप-धारा (3)
के साथ परित धारा 16 की उप-धारा (1) और (2) द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए केंद्र सरकार का, भारतीय
मानक ब् यूरो से परामिध करने के बाद, यह म त है दक यह िनजहत में आवश् यक अथवा जहतकर है, अत: एतद्द्वारा, जखलौना
(गुणवत्ता जनयंत्रण) आदेि, 2020 में संिोधन करने के जलए जनम् नजलजखत आदेि करती है, नामत :-
1. (1) इस आदेि को जखलौना (गुणवत्ता जनयंत्रण) संिोधन आदेि, 2024 कहा िाएगा।
(2) यह आदेि आजधकाररक रािपत्र में इसके प्रकािन की तारीख से लागू होगा।
2. जखलौना (गुणवत्ता जनयंत्रण) आदेि, 2020 के, पैराग्राफ 3 में, तीसरे परंतुक के बाद, जनम्नजलजखत परंतुक
अंतर्वधष् ट दकया िाएगा, नामतः
" बिते यह भी दक इस आदेि की कोई भी बात ऐसे जवजनमाधताओं द्वारा, िो उक् त ब् यूरो द्वारा प्रमाजणत हैं या
जिन् होनें ब् यूरो के समक्ष आवेदन प्रस्ट् तुत दकया है, जखलौनों तथा संबंजधत घटकों पर अनुसंधान व जवकास के प्रयोिन से प्रजत

वर्ध 300 की संख् या तक (प्रत्येक प्रकार के नमूनों की अजधकतम संख्या 5) सामान तथा वस्ट् तुओं के आयात पर लागू नहीं
होगी, इस ितध के अध् यधीन दक ऐसे आयाजतत सामानों और वस्ट्तुओं की वाजणजज्यक जबक्री नहीं की िाएगी और उन्हें स्ट् क्रैप
के रूप में जनपटाया िाएगा और ऐसे जवजनमाधता ऐसे सामानों या वस्ट्तुओं का वर्धवार ररकाडध रखेंगे और उसे इस आिय की
घोर्णा के साथ केन्द्र सरकार के उद्योग और आंतररक व्यापार संवधधन जवभाग (DPIIT) को प्रस्ट्तुत करेंगे।"

नोट:-मूल आदेि भारत के रािपत्र, असाधारण, भाग II, खंड 3, उप खंड (ii) में संख्या सां.आ 853 (अ), ददनांक 25
फरवरी, 2020 द्वारा प्रकाजित दकया गया था और बाद में अजधसूिना संख्या सां.आ 3146 (अ), ददनांक 15 जसतंबर,
2020 और सां.आ 4514 (अ), ददनांक 11 ददसंबर, 2020 द्वारा संिोजधत दकया गया था।

ORDER
New Delhi, the 30th September, 2024
S.O. 4277(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 16 read with sub-
section (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 (11 of 2016), the Central Government, after
consulting the Bureau of Indian Standards, is of the opinion that it is necessary and expedient so to do in the public
interest, hereby makes the following Order further to amend the Toys (Quality Control) Order, 2020, namely:-
1. (1) This Order may be called the Toys (Quality Control) Amendment Order, 2024.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Toys (Quality Control) Order, 2020, in paragraph 3, after the third proviso, the following proviso
shall be inserted, namely: -
“Provided also that nothing in this Order shall apply to import of up to 300 numbers (max 5 nos each type
of samples) of goods and articles per financial year for the purpose of research and development for Toys and related
parts by each of the manufacturers who are certified by the Bureau or manufacturer who has applied to the Bureau,
subject to the condition that such imported goods and articles will not be sold commercially and shall be disposed of
as scrap and also such manufacturers shall maintain a year – wise record of such goods or articles and furnish the
same to the Central Government with a declaration made to this effect” to the Department for Promotion of Industry
& Internal Trade (DPIIT).
