This is in continuation of Circular no: 20260617-36 dated June 17, 2026, regarding provision of a facility for monitoring Intraday Uncrystallised Mark-to-Market (MTM) Losses for Futures Contracts

Clearing Members of BSE Clearing Limited (BSECL) (Formerly Indian Clearing Corporation Limited - ICCL) are hereby informed that an optional facility has now been made available, on request, in the Real Time Risk Management System (RTRMS). The facility enables Clearing Members who choose to avail the facility to monitor intraday uncrystallised Mark-to-Market (MTM) losses arising from open futures positions at the Clearing Member level.

Key Features and Operational Framework:

1. Clearing Members wishing to avail this optional facility shall submit a formal request via email to the Risk Department of BSECL.
2. Upon activation by BSECL, Clearing Members will be able to view the cumulative MTM loss limits of their constituent Trading Members at the Clearing Member level in the RTRMS application.
3. Monitoring of intra-day MTM losses and monitoring of margin requirements against collateral shall be carried out independently and remain mutually exclusive.
4. Intraday MTM profit and loss shall be computed in real-time based on open futures positions and the latest available futures prices. MTM shall be calculated across client and proprietary positions, with only net losses aggregated at the Clearing Member level for monitoring purposes.
5. This facility is entirely non-mandatory and intended solely as a monitoring tool for Clearing Members and does not result in any change to the existing risk management, margin monitoring processes at BSECL.

Clearing Members are requested to take note of the above and make use of the facility, if required.
