What changed

BSE updates the list of securities under the Enhanced Surveillance Measure (ESM) framework. Certain securities move to Stage I or exit the framework effective August 18, 2026. Securities qualifying for inclusion under the measure attract a minimum 100% margin on open and new positions starting August 19, 2026. These securities also shift from the Rolling Settlement segment to the Trade-for-Trade segment on August 19, 2026. Securities moving to Stage II operate under a 2% price band with Periodic Call Auction effective August 18, 2026. The exchange reviews these securities periodically. This framework operates alongside other existing surveillance measures. The shortlisting of securities is a surveillance action and not an adverse action against the company.
