The authority inserts the word Chhattisgarh after the words States of Gujarat against renumbered serial numbers 67 and 68. The changes take effect on the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

S.O. 3593(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of Section 120 of the Income-tax Act, 1961, (43 of 1961), the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby makes the following further amendments to the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), (Central Board of Direct Taxes) number S.O. 1446(E) [F. No. 187/09/2007-IT(A-1], dated the 22nd August, 2007, with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, namely :—
