The Central Government sets critical dates for declarations and payments under the Direct Tax Vivad se Vishwas Act, 2020. The declarant files a declaration for tax arrear to the designated authority on or before 31 December 2020. The declarant pays the amount payable under the Act as per the third column of the Table to section 3 on or before 31 March 2021. The declarant pays the amount payable under the Act as per the fourth column of the Table to section 3 on or after 1 April 2021. This notification comes into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
