New Delhi, dated the $5^{\text{th}}$ January, 2024

S.O.....(E).– In exercise of the powers conferred bysection 148 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017) (hereinafter referred to as thesaid Act),the Central Government, on the recommendations of the Council, hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, number 30/2023-CT, dated the $31^{\text{st}}$ July, 2023 published vide number S.O. 3424(E), dated the $31^{\text{st}}$ July, 2023, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission.

2. This notification shall come into force from $1^{\text{st}}$ day of January, 2024.
