The Central Government amends Notification No. 24/2023-Customs (N.T.) to extend the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products scheme to exports under Advance Authorisation and exports by Export Orient Units. The amendment specifies that duty credit relies on goods notified in Appendix 4RE of the Foreign Trade Policy. The value for duty credit calculation uses the declared export FOB value or up to 1.5 times the market price, whichever is less. The amendment also omits specific serial numbers from the table.
