The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs makes the Passenger Name Record Information (First Amendment) Regulations, 2024. These regulations amend regulation 5 in sub-regulation (4) of the Passenger Name Record Information Regulations, 2022. The amendment replaces the words departure time or with the words departure time and. The regulations take effect on the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

G.S.R. .....(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with clause (ab) of sub-section (2) of section 157 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs hereby makes the following amendments in the Passenger Name Record Information Regulations, 2022 issued vide notification no. 67/2022-Customs (N.T.) of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R. 621 (E), dated the $8^{\text{th}}$ August, 2022, namely :-
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
