The GST portal suspends specific e-Invoice services for infrastructure upgrades from 31 October 2026 to 1 November 2026. Taxpayers cannot access e-Invoice data retrieval or processing from IRPs during this time. The system stops the auto-population of e-Invoice data into GSTR-1. Users cannot download e-Invoice JSON files through the portal or APIs. Services resume after the maintenance completion. Taxpayers must plan their activities to account for this downtime.

Dear Taxpayers,
Due to a scheduled infrastructure upgrade, certain e-Invoice-related services on the GST portal (https://einvoice.gst.gov.in) would remain temporarily unavailable during the following period:
Start: 31 October 2026, 9:00 AM (IST)
End: 1 November 2026, 1:00 PM (IST)
Affected services:
Taxpayers and other stakeholders are advised to plan their activities accordingly. The affected services are expected to resume after completion of the maintenance.
