Official record
Open source pageSummary
Check the official recordThe GST System introduces security enhancements for taxpayers who use Application Suvidha Providers (ASP). The system sends email and SMS notifications to the authorized signatory when an ASP obtains OTP consent to access taxpayer data. These notifications include the name of the ASP and the GSP, the date and time of consent, and the validity period. The GST Common Portal also provides a view of current and historic access by ASP or GSP. Taxpayers can revoke active consent through their GST Common Portal dashboard. The GSTN will publish the exact dates for these functionalities in future advisories.
