The parties to the combination are:

Target
(b) Altius Telecom Infrastructure Trust (“Altius / Target”)
The Acquirer and the Target are collectively referred to as the “Parties”.
B. Nature and Purpose of the Combination

CDPQ Infra III: CDPQ Infra III, is an investment vehicle and direct wholly-owned subsidiary of Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (“La Caisse”, previously known as CDPQ), a Canadian institutional fund manager. La Caisse is a global investment group headquartered in Québec City, Québec, Canada that manages funds of its depositors, primarily public and para-public pension and insurance plans from Québec. La Caisse is present in India through its subsidiaries, namely, CDPQ India Private Limited, Ivanhoe Cambridge Investment Advisory (India) Private Limited, and SITQ India Private Limited.
Altius: Altius, previously known as Data Infrastructure Trust, is an infrastructure investment trust registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (“SEBI”) under the SEBI (Infrastructure Investment Trusts) Regulations, 2014. Altius through its subsidiary and special purpose vehicles is broadly engaged in the provision of passive telecom infrastructure services in India.
D. Respective markets in which the Parties operate
The activities of the Parties, their respective group entities and their affiliates do not exhibit any horizontal overlaps, vertical linkages and complementary linkages in any of the plausible relevant markets in India.
Accordingly, the Proposed Transaction is being notified under Section 6(4) of the Competition Act, 2002 (as amended) read with Rule 3 of the Competition (Criteria of Combination) Rules, 2024.
