Revision of Variable Dearness Allowance Rates

CORRIGENDUM

The first paragraph of Variable Dearness Allowance order dated 25/9/2025 regarding revision of minimum wages may be read as under:

"In exercise of the powers conferred by Central Government vide Notification No.S.O. 186(E) dated 19th January, 2017 of the Ministry of Labour and Employment the undersigned hereby revises the rates of Variable Dearness Allowance for the employees employed in Agriculture w.e.f. 01.10.2025 on the basis of the average Consumer Price Index for Industrial workers reaching 413.52 from 413.424 as on 30.06.2025 (Base 2016=100) and thereby resulting in an increase of 0.096 points which is less than one.

Therefore, the resultant increase in Variable Dearness Allowance is considered as 'NIL/Zero'.

The same is applicable for rest of the Schedule Employments namely (Mines, Sweeping and Cleaning, Watch and Ward, Construction or Maintenance of Roads or Runways or in Building operations, Stone Mines, Loading & Unloading)."

All other contents of VDA order(s) dated 25/09/2025 shall remain same.

न्यूनतम मजदूरी में संशोधन के संबंध में परिवर्तनीय महंगाई भत्ता आदेश दिनांक 25/09/2025 का पहला पैराग्राफ निम्नानुसार पढ़ा जा सकता है:

"श्रम एवं रोजगार मंत्रालय के दिनांक 19 जनवरी 2017 की अधिसूचना सं. एस.ओ. 186(ई) के अनुसार कामगारों के लिए औसत उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक (वीडीए) के दिनांक 30.06.2025 (आधार वर्ष 2016=100) को 413.424 से 413.52 पर पहुँचने और इनके परिणामस्वरूप इसमें 0.096 अंको की वृद्धि हुई है, जो एक से कम होने के आधार पर केन्द्रीय सरकार द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए अधोहस्ताक्षरी ने एतदद्वारा द्वारा दिनांक 01.10.2025 से कृषि क्षेत्र में कार्यरत कर्मचारियों के लिए परिवर्ती महंगाई भत्ते की दरों में परिशोधन किया गया है।

इस प्रकार, परिवर्तनीय महंगाई भत्ते में परिणामी वृद्धि शून्य मानी जाती है।

यह शेष अनुसूचित रोजगारों नामतः (खनन, झाडू लगाना और साफ-सफाई-निगरानी और रख-रखाव, सड़कों या रनवे का निर्माण अथवा रखरखाव या भवन संचालन पत्थर की खदानों, लोडिंग और अनलोडिंग) पर भी लागू होते हैं।"

दिनांक 25/09/2025 के वीडीए आदेश की अन्य सभी विषय-वस्तु यथावत् रहेंगी।
