The Directorate General of Foreign Trade has amended the export policy for wheat flour and related items under HS Code 1101. While the export of these items remains classified as 'Prohibited', the government has permitted an additional export quota of 5 Lakh Metric Tonnes (LMT). This allowance is in addition to the 5 LMT previously permitted under Notification No. 55/2025-26 dated January 16, 2026. Subject: Amendment in export policy of Wheat flour and related items falling under HS Code 1101- regarding.
S.O. (E) - In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992) as amended, read with Para 1.02 and Para 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, and in continuation of Notification No. 55/2025-26 dated January 16, 2026, the Central Government hereby further amends the export policy of items under HS Code 1101 of ITC (HS), Schedule-2, 2022 as under:

- Effect of this Notification:
The export of wheat flour and related products under HS Code 1101 shall continue to remain "Prohibited". However, export of an additional 05 LMT of wheat flour and related products is allowed. This is in addition to the quantity allowed under Notification No. 55/2025-26 dated January 16, 2026. Detailed procedure for this purpose shall be notified separately.
