The Central Government revises the import policy condition for specific duck meat items under Chapter 2 of ITC (HS) 2022. The import of premium duck meat for supply to hotels and restaurants becomes restricted under specific office memorandum and customs notification conditions. Other imports under the designated ITC (HS) codes remain free. Importers follow the revised policy conditions for shipments under ITC (HS) codes 02074200 and 02074500.

Subject: Amendment in import policy condition for Duck Meat Chapter 2 of ITC (HS) 2022, Schedule–I(Import Policy)
S.O.: In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 read with Section 5 of FT (D&R) Act, 1992, and read with paragraph 1.02 and 2.01 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2023, as amended from time to time, the Central Government hereby revises the import policy condition of the following items under ITC(HS) Code 02074200 and 02074500 of Chapter 2 of ITC(HS) 2022, Schedule–I(Import Policy), as under:
