The Directorate General of Foreign Trade invites online applications for export authorizations of human hair under HS Code 0501 for the financial year 2024-25. Exporters submit applications through the DGFT ECOM system from 16 February 2024 to 29 February 2024. The export is subject to a minimum export price of USD 55000 per metric ton. The authority limits each IEC to one application during this period. Deficient applications or submissions sent via email, post, or after the deadline are rejected.

Subject: Implementation of Notification No.51/2015-2020 dated $25^{\text{th}}$ January, 2022 during FY 2024-25.
Reference is invited to Notification No. 51/2015-2020 dated $25^{\text{th}}$ January, 2022 amending the export policy of Human Hair, unworked, whether or not washed or scoured; waste of human hair under S.No.38 B, HS Code 0501, of Chapter 05 of Schedule – 2 of the ITC (HS) Export Policy from 'Free' to 'Restricted'.
DGFT reserves the right to decide or alter the modalities of distribution and allocation as per applications received.
Deficient applications, applications received through e-mails or by post or received beyond the specified timeline will not be considered.
