The Directorate General of Foreign Trade provides a facility on its website to verify the authenticity of electronically-issued documents using a Unique Document Identification Number. All Customs Commissionerates, Regional Authorities, and members of trade and industry use this facility to check licenses, authorizations, scrips, certificates, and instruments. The system places a Unique Document Identification Number at the top-right corner of each electronic document. Stakeholders enter the Unique Document Identification Number on the Directorate General of Foreign Trade website without login credentials to download the complete electronic document. Stakeholders compare the details of any paper copy with the downloaded electronic copy. Stakeholders do not send requests for document verification to the Directorate General of Foreign Trade.
