Subject: Rescheduling of 03-Day Common In-Service Training Programme (CIST) on "Satellite Communications: Emerging Technologies, Applications and Regulatory Perspectives" - Regarding.
Kindly refer to this office OM even dated 25.09.2026, vide which nominations were invited for a 03-Day Common In-Service Training Programme (CIST) on "Satellite Communications: Emerging Technologies, Applications and Regulatory Perspectives" to be conducted in physical mode by National Communications Academy–Technology (NCA-T), Ghaziabad.
2. Due to administrative reasons, the training programme has been rescheduled from 28–30 October 2026 to 18–20 November 2026. Further, the eligibility criteria for the training programme have been relaxed to include all Group 'A' and Group 'B' officers of DoT.
3. Accordingly, the revised details of the training programme are as under:

4. The programme continues to provide participants with contemporary understanding of emerging satellite communication technologies, applications and regulatory perspectives. The programme will adopt the latest pedagogical tools such as pre-reading material, case studies, relevant iGOT courses, practical hands-on learning, including a technical study visit to the Inmarsat Gateway at the NCA-T Campus.
4. Accordingly, fresh nominations are invited from all eligible officers through the Competency Portal of DoT (https://competency.dot.gov.in). The last date for submitting nominations is 13 November 2026. Nominations may also be sent in the duly filled prescribed proforma (Annexure-II) by email to "dir.ngn-nti@gov.in" with a copy to "ad.transmission-nti@gov.in".
5. The Division/Unit Heads are requested to send nominations of the eligible officers from their Division/Unit.
