ORDER
The promotion order of Junior Translation Officer (JTO) to the post of Senior Translation Officer (STO) was issued vide Office Order No. 182 of 2026 dated 17.08.2026, with the direction to communicate acceptance or refusal of promotion within seven days from the date of issue of the said order.
2. The representations received from officers seeking reconsideration, modification or deferment of their ordered places of posting have been considered by the Competent Authority. Upon due consideration of the requests and the administrative requirements, the same have not been acceded to. Accordingly, the places of posting specified in the aforesaid promotion order shall remain unchanged.
3. All concerned officers who have not yet joined at their respective ordered place of posting on promotion are hereby directed to join at their respective place of posting within seven days from the date of issue of this order.
4. Failure to join at the ordered place of posting within the stipulated period shall result in cancellation of the promotion, in accordance with the applicable instructions.
5. The concerned Controlling Authorities shall ensure strict compliance with the above directions and furnish the joining status or refusal of promotion, as applicable, in respect of the concerned officers to this Office through email only at dpc-e1hq@esic.gov.in.
