Accordingly, the following guidelines shall come into effect immediately: 1. Delegation of Powers o The authority to process and make payments towards CAG audit fees is hereby delegated to the Heads of the respective Accounting Units. o All Accounting Units must ensure timely payment of CAG audit fees pertaining to audit periods from FY 2019-20 onwards. 2. Reconciliation of Older Dues (if any) . For any outstanding payments prior to FY 2O19-2O, Accounting Units must obtain the pendency status from the respective CAG offices. . Such pendency details are to be forwarded to the Headquarters for reconciliation before processing any payment. All Accounting Units are instructed to ensure strict compliance with the a directions.
