The Employees' State Insurance Corporation has issued a downward rate revision for Item No. 2128 (Ibrutinib 140mg) under DGESIC Rate Contract 161, supplied by M/s. Johnson & Johnson Pvt. Ltd. The said amendment has been issued on the request of the firm- M/s. Johnson & Johnson Pvt. Ltd
The drugs shall continue to adhere to composition, strength, standards and packing as approved under the respective DGESIC Rate Contract & conform to the standards and specifications as per the Drug & Cosmetic Act and/or any amendments thereof.
All DDOs are advised to recover the excess amount paid to the firm (i.e. difference in rates to be deducted for the Supply orders placed on/after 08.04.2026) from their subsequent bills submitted by the firms and maintain records of the same.
Reconciliation / recovery under the said amendment is the sole responsibility of the Competent Authority / DDOs of the respective institutes.
