The Director General of the Employees' State Insurance Corporation assigns additional regional charges to specific Superintending Engineers and Executive Engineers. OFFICE MEMORANDUM
Subject: - Entrustment of Additional Charge of Regions/States to SE/EEs - regarding.
The Director General has approved entrusting the additional charge of Regions/States to the Superintending/Executive Engineers, posted in regions, as detailed below. The arrangement is intended to facilitate technical vetting / scrutiny of proposals and estimates for ARM/SR works, monitoring and supervision of all construction works in the State/Region, and to provide appropriate technical advice and guidance to the concerned Regions and Hospitals.

The Superintending/Executive Engineers who have been assigned additional charge of other Regions/States, shall not be entitled for any extra remuneration for the same.
They are advised to make regular visits to the Regions/States additionally assigned to them, to monitor and supervise the construction works being executed in those Regions/States and also to provide appropriate technical advice and guidance. The Superintending/Executive Engineers shall submit the Tour programme regarding visit to the additional Regions/States allotted to them, to the Head of the Office, where they are posted, for approval.
