the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme in accordance with Govt. of lndia,
DoP&T OM No.35A341312008-Estt.(D) dated 19.05.2019 and subsequent instructions

Above firrancial up-gradation under the MACP Scheme shall, be subject to the
terms and conditions merrtioned in DoP&T OM No,35034/3/2015-Estt.(D) dated
22.10.2019 and further instructions/clarifications issued from time to time and circulated
by Establishment Branch-lll, Hqrs on the subject. Further, the cases of the officials
holding a higher post on purely ad-hoc basis before the date of recommendation of
linancial up-gradation, if any, may be regulated as per para 25 of Annexure-l of DoP&T
Olr/l dated 22.1 0.2019.
On up-gradation under the MACP Scheme, pay of an employee shall be fixed as
per para 4lo 7 of Annexure-l DoP&T OM dated 22.10.2019 and the officers/officials shall
have to exercise the option of fixation of pay within one month from the date of issue of
order, under the provisions of FR 22 (l)(a)(1). Before allowing the financial up-gradation
as per the details above, the RD I JD I DD (l/c) may verify the details of each
officer/official concerned from their service records. Discrepancy, if any, may be
immediately brought to the notice of the Hqrs Office.
