Reference: Headquarters letter No. E-323/I-11013/4/2021-ICT dated 21.08.2025 regarding the Policy for Procurement of IT Hardware for ESI Locations.
Madam/Sir,
With reference to the Headquarters letter cited above, the standard Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and minimum technical specifications for LAN cabling and associated networking components are enclosed as Annexure-I for adoption by all ESIC field units while undertaking procurement of structured cabling and related networking infrastructure.
All field units shall adhere to the specifications prescribed in Annexure-I while procuring LAN cabling, optical fibre cabling, racks, passive networking components, and other associated items covered therein.
Any deviation from the prescribed specifications, if necessitated by site-specific or technical requirements, shall require the prior approval of the ICT Division, Headquarters. Such proposals shall be accompanied by a detailed technical justification and comparative specifications for examination.

Field units where procurement has already been initiated prior to the issuance of this circular may continue with the ongoing procurement process without any modification.
All other terms and conditions contained in Headquarters letter No. E-323/I-11013/4/2021-ICT dated 21.08.2025 shall remain unchanged.
This issues with the approval of the Competent Authority.
