Madam/Sir,
The Election Commission of India vide its Press Note No. ECI/PN/316/2025 dated 06.10.2025 has announced the scheduled of the State Legislative Assembly Election. With this announcement, the Model Code of Conduct has come into effect. In this regard, the detailed guideline on the Model Code of Conduct has been issued by Election Commission of India vide letter No. 437/6/1/INST/ECI/FUNCT/MCC/2025 dated 06.10.2025 (copy enclosed) and Application of Model Code of Conduct vide letter No. 437/6/1/INST/ECI/FUNCT/MCC/2025 dated 06.10.2025 (copy enclosed).
Therefore, you are directed to strictly adhere and comply with all instructions until the completion of the entire election exercise across the state of Bihar.
