Sub: Procedure for implementation of Section 12A of "The Weapons of Mass Destruction and their Delivery Systems (Prohibition of Unlawful Activities) Act, 2005" and Section 51A of “The Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967”- Change of Nodal Officer -regarding.

Sir/Madam,

• A. Reference may be drawn to Circular dated $20^{\text{th}}$ October 2023 regarding Procedure for implementation of Section 12A of The Weapons of Mass Destruction and their Delivery Systems (Prohibition of Unlawful Activities) Act, 2005 (‘WMD Act’) and also to Communication dated $21^{\text{st}}$ April 2023 regarding Procedure for implementation of Section 51A of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act, 1967 (‘UAPA’), on appointment of Nodal Officer for implementation of provisions of Section 51A of the UAPA and Section 12A of the WMD Act.

• B. In partial modification of aforesaid circular and communication, the undersigned has been designated as new Nodal Officer for implementation of provisions of Section 51A of the UAPA and Section 12A of the WMD Act.
