विषय: क्रेडिट कार्ड के माध्यम से बीमा पॉलिसी पर लिए गए ऋण के चुकौती की सुविधा को रोकने के अनुदेश।
Sub: Instructions to stop the facility of re-payment of loan taken against the insurance policy through Credit Card.
प्राधिकरण ने भुगतान के माध्यम के रूप में क्रेडिट कार्ड का उपयोग करके बीमा पॉलिसी पर लिए गए ऋणों के चुकौती की सुविधा को समाप्त करने का निर्णय लिया है। तदनुसार, सभी जीवन बीमाकर्ताओं को परामर्श दिया जाता है कि वे तत्काल प्रभाव से बीमा पॉलिसियों पर दिए गए ऋणों की चुकौती के लिए माध्यम के रूप में क्रेडिट कार्ड की स्वीकृति पर विराम लगा दें।
The Authority has decided to stop the facility of re-payment of loans taken against the insurance policy using credit card as a mode of payment. Accordingly, all Life Insurers are advised to stop the acceptance of credit card as a mode of re-payment of loans granted against insurance policies with immediate effect.
यह परिपत्र बीमा विनियामक और विकास प्राधिकरण अधिनियम, 1999 की धारा 14 के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए जारी किया गया है।
This circular is issued in exercise of the powers conferred under Section 14 of Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority Act, 1999.
