L.-33004/99 xxxGIDHxxx xxxGIDExxx असाधारण EXTRAORDINARY भाग II—खण् ड 3—उप-खण् ड (ii) PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (ii) प्राजधकार से प्रकाजित PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY जित्त मंत्रालय (जित्तीय सेिाएं जिभाग) अजधसूचना नई ददल्ली, 15 अप्रैल, 2020 का. आ. 1258 (अ).—बीमा जनयम, 1939 के जनयम 59 के साथ पठित बीमा अजधजनयम, 1938 की धारा 64 िीबी की उप-धाराओं (1) और (5) के द्वारा प्रदत्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, केन्द्र सरकार करोना िायरस रोग (कोजिड-19) के कारण उत्पन्न देि में व्याप्त पठरजस्ट्थजत एिं पठरणामस्ट्िरूप लाकडाउन अिजध के 15 अप्रैल 2020 को प्रारंभ करते हुए और इस तारीख से 3 मई 2020 तक आगे उन्नीस ददन के जलए दकये गये जिस्ट्तार को ध्यान में रखते हुए, का.आ. 1237 (अ) ददनांक 1 अप्रैल 2020 के अनुसार िनजित में िारी दकये गये भारत सरकार, जित्त मंत्रालय, जित्तीय सेिाएँ जिभाग के आदेि को इसके द्वारा संिोजधत करती िै। उपयुुि अजधसूचना में, " पाजलसीधारक जिनके मोटरयान तृतीय पक्ष कार बीमा पाजलजसयों" से िब्दों के साथ प्रारम्भ हुए तथा "जिस तारीख को पॉजलसी का निीकरण देय िोता िै", िब्दों के साथ समाप्त हुए पैराग्राफ में उि िब्दों के जलए जनम्नजलजखत पैराग्राफ को प्रजतस्ट्थाजपत दकया िाएगा, अथाुत् “पाजलसीधारक जिनकी मोटर िािन तृतीय पक्ष बीमा पाजलजसयाँ 25 माचु, 2020 को और उस तारीख से 3 मई, 2020 तक की अिजध के दौरान निीकरण के जलए अपेजक्षत िैं तथा कोरोना िायरस रोग (कोजिद-19) के पठरणामस्ट्िरूप देि में व्याप्त जस्ट्थजत को देखते हुए समय पर निीकरण प्रीजमयम भुगतान करने में असमथु िैं, को अनुमजत दी गई िै दक िे अपने बीमाकताुओं को पाजलजसयों के निीकरण के जलए इस प्रकार का भुगतान 15 मई, 2020 को अथिा उससे पिले करें जिससे सं. 1117] नई ददल्ली, बुधिार, अप्रैल 15, 2020/चैत्र 26, 1942 No. 1117] NEW DELHI, WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15, 2020/CHAITRA 26, 1942 सी.जी.-डी.एल.-अ.-15042020-219059 CG-DL-E-15042020-219059 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(ii)] उस तारीख िब पाजलसी निीकरण के जलए जनयत िै, से सांजिजधक मोटर िािन तृतीय पक्ष बीमा किर की जनरंतरता सुजनजित की िा सके, तादक अनुग्रि अिजध के दौरान उत्पन्न दकसी भी िैध दािे का भुगतान दकया िा सके। 2. यि अजधसूचना उसके प्रकािन की तारीख से प्रिृत्त िोगी। [फा. सं. 14017/18/2020-बीमा-II] सौरभ जमश्रा, संयुि सजचि MINISTRY OF FINANCE (Department of Financial Services) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 15th April, 2020 S.O. 1258 (E).—In exercise of powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (5) of section 64VB of the Insurance Act, 1938, read with rule 59 of the Insurance Rules, 1939, the Central Government, having regard to the prevailing situation in the country caused due to Corona Virus disease (COVID-19) and consequent extension of lockdown period by further nineteen days starting on and from 15th April, 2020 up to the 3rd May, 2020, hereby amends the order issued vide S.O.1237(E) dated the 1st April, 2020 of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Financial Services in the public interest. In the said notification, in the paragraph for the words beginning with “The policy holders whose motor vehicle third party insurance policies”, and the words ending with “the policy falls due for renewal”, the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely :— “The policy holders whose motor vehicle third party insurance policies fall due for renewal during the period on and from the 25th March, 2020 up to the 3rd May, 2020 and who are unable to make payment of their renewal premium on time in view of the prevailing situation in the country as a result of Corona Virus disease (COVID-19), are allowed to make such payment for renewal of policies to their insurers on or before the 15th May, 2020 to ensure continuity of the statutory motor vehicle third party insurance cover from the date on which the policy falls due for renewal, so that any valid claim triggered during the grace period can be paid.” 2.
