प्राशधकरण र्वैशिक स्तर और भारिीय संदभभ में, सामान्य रूप से और शर्विेष रूप से बीमा क्षेत्र में आशथभक स्ट्िशि का आकलन कर रहा है। स्ट्िशि का आकलन, 30 शसिंबर, 2020 और 31 शदसंबर, 2020 को समाप्त शिमाशहयों के शलए बीमाकिाभओं के शर्वत्तीय पररणामों के आधार पर शकया गया है। यह पाया गया है शक व्यापार की दृशि से बीमाकिाभओं का कायभ शनष्पादन, यद्यशप पूर्वभ-कोशर्वि स्तर की िुलना में धीमी गशि से, िनैैःिनैैः पूर्वभ रूप में लौट रहा है। The Authority has been assessing the economic position both at global level and at the Indian context, in general and the insurance sector in particular. The situation has been assessed based on the financial results of insurers for the quarters ending 30th September, 2020 and 31st December 2020. It is observed that the performance of the insurers in terms of business is gradually reviving, albeit at a slower pace vis- a-vis the pre-covid levels.
सामान्य रूप से और शर्विेष रूप से बीमा उद्योग में अथभव्यर्विा में सुधार के दौर को ध्यान में रखिे हुए और बीमाकिाभओं की िोधन क्षमिा की स्ट्िशि को ध्यान में रखिे हुए, यह शनणभय शकया गया है शक उपरोक्त पररपत्र शदनांशकि 24 अप्रैल, 2020 की प्रयोज्यिा को िुरंि प्रभार्व से र्वापस शलया जाय। िथाशप, बीमाकिाभओं से अनुरोध शकया जािा है शक, अपनी पूूँजी, िोधनक्षमिा और नकदी की स्ट्िशियों को ध्यान में रखकर शर्वत्तीय र्वषभ 2020-21 के शलए लाभांिों की घोषणा के मामले में सजग कदम उठाएं।

Considering the revival phase of the economy in general and the insurance industry in particular, and taking into account the solvency position of the insurers, it has been decided to withdraw the applicability of the circular dated 24th April 2020 mentioned above with immediate effect. However, insurers are requested to take a conscious call in the matter of declaring dividends for FY 2020-21 considering their capital, solvency and liquidity positions.
