एक्सा फ्रांस वी इंडिया पुनर्बीमा शाखा को दिनांक 28 जुलाई, 2017 के पंजीकरण संख्या एफआरबी /009 के द्वारा विदेशी पुनर्बीमाकर्ता शाखा के रूप में कार्य करने हेतु पंजीकरण प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान किया गया था।
एक्सा फ्रांस वी इंडिया पुनर्बीमा शाखा ने स्वेच्छा से आईआरडीएआई (विदेशी पुनर्बीमाकर्ताओं की शाखाओं और लायड्स इंडिया का पंजीकरण और परिचालन) विनियम 2024 के विनियम 18 (3) (घ) के साथ पठित पुनर्बीमा संबंधी मास्टर परिपत्र दिनांकित 31 मई, 2024 के खंड 12 के अनुसार पंजीकरण प्रमाणपत्र के अभ्यर्पण का अनुरोध किया है।
प्राधिकरण ने 14/07/2025 को आयोजित अपनी बोर्ड बैठक में एएफवी एफआरबी को जारी पंजीकरण प्रमाणपत्र के अभ्यर्पण को अनुमोदन प्रदान किया है।
उपरोक्त को ध्यान में रखते हुए एक्सा फ्रांस वी इंडिया पुनर्बीमा शाखा को जारी किया गया पंजीकरण प्रमाणपत्र संख्या एफआरबी/009 दिनांक 28 जुलाई, 2017 प्रत्याहरित किया गया है और एएफवी एफआरबी अब विदेशी पुनर्बीमाकर्ता शाखा के रूप में कार्य करने के लिए आईआरडीएआई के साथ पंजीकृत नहीं है।
AXA France Vie India Reinsurance Branch was granted Certificate of Registration to act as a Foreign Reinsurer’s Branch vide Registration No. FRB/009 dated 28th July, 2017.
AXA France Vie India Reinsurance Branch voluntarily requested for surrender of Certificate of Registration as per Regulation 18 (3) (d) of IRDAI (Registration and Operations of Foreign Reinsurers Branches & Lloyd’s India) Regulations 2024 read with Clause 12 of Master Circular on Reinsurance dated 31st May, 2024.
The Authority in its Board Meeting held on 14/07/2025 approved the surrender of Certificate of Registration issued to AFV FRB.
In view of the above, the Certificate of Registration bearing No. FRB/009 dated 28th July, 2017 issued to AXA France Vie India Reinsurance Branch stands withdrawn and the AFV FRB is no longer registered with IRDAI to act as a Foreign Reinsurer’s Branch.
