The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India withdraws specific regulatory instructions on Indian owned and controlled conditions for insurance intermediaries. This action follows the notification of the Indian Insurance Companies (Foreign Investment) Amendment Rules, 2019 and the IRDAI (Insurance Intermediaries) (Amendment) Regulations, 2019. The Authority withdraws circular number IRDA/ INT/ CIR/ ORD/ 208/ 11/ 2015 and deletes paragraph 6 of circular number IRDA/ F&A/ GDL/ 180/ 10/ 2015. भारतीय बीमा कंपनी (विदेशी विनिधान) संशोधन नियम, 2019 और आईआरडीएआई (बीमा मध्यवर्ती) (संशोधन) विनियम, 2019 की अधिसूचना के परिणामस्वरूप, यह देखा गया है कि परिपत्र आईआरडीएआई/आईएनटी/सीआईआर/ओआरडी/208/11/2015 दिनांकित 20.11.2015 अनावश्यक हो गया है। इसी तरह, परिपत्र सं. आईआरडीएएफ & ए / जीडीएल /180/10/ 2015 दिनांकित 19.10.2015 के पैरा 6 भी अनावश्यक हो गए हैं। इसलिए, प्राधिकरण, आईआरडीए अधिनियम, 1999 की धारा 14 (1) के तहत प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुएः i) परिपत्र सं. आईआरडीएआई/आईएनटी/सीआईआर/ओआरडी/208/11/2015 दिनांकित 20.11.2015 को हटाता है। ii) परिपत्र सं. आईआरडीएएफ & ए / जीडीएल /180/10/ 2015 दिनांकित 19.10.2015 के पैरा 6 का विलोपन करता है।
Consequent upon notification of Indian Insurance Companies (Foreign Investment) Amendment Rules, 2019 and IRDAI (Insurance Intermediaries) (Amendment) Regulations, 2019, it is observed that the circular no. IRDA/ INT/ CIR/ ORD/ 208 11/ 2015 dt 20.11.2015 has become redundant. Similarly, para 6 of circular no IRDA/ F&A/
