Out of this, as on 6th December, 2021, Rs. 12.58 crore have been utilised. National Career Service (NCS) portal provides variety of employment related services. As on 24- 11-2021, 90.47 lakh vacancies have been mobilized, 9214 counselling sessions conducted, 6464 job fairs organized and 3.16 lakh job seekers got final offer letters through NCS portal. Besides, the Government of India is implementing various other skilling/training programmes through various Ministries. Under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) of M/o Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, since inception (i.e. 2015), 53.26 lakh candidates have been certified under Short Term Training (STT), out of which, 23.59 lakh candidates have been placed. Under Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) and Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETI) schemes of M/o Rural Development, since 2016 onwards, 8.35 lakh and 20.39 lakh candidates have been trained respectively, out of which 5.82 lakh and 15.53 lakh candidates have been placed respectively. Under Deen Dayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Urban Livelihood Mission (DAY-NULM) scheme of M/o Housing and Urban Affairs 5.95 lakh candidates have been placed after training, since 2014.
