Official record
Open source pageSummary
Check the official recordNSE Clearing Limited updates the close-out procedure for shortages in overnight ETFs and liquid ETFs. This applies to shortages in the normal market that the auction market cannot resolve. It also applies when an auction seller fails to deliver. The clearing house closes these shortages at the highest price across exchanges from the trade date to the auction date. Alternatively, it uses a price 5% above the auction day settlement price, whichever is higher. The same pricing rule applies when auction pay-out occurs after the record date or book closure minus one business day. These rules apply to trades from September 07, 2026.
