Open source pageSummary
Check the official recordThe National Stock Exchange has issued consolidated operational guidelines for trading members regarding the management of Unique Client Code (UCC) data. Members must ensure timely updates of client information, including accurate Demat account details and gross annual income. KYC status must be verified as 'KRA Validated' or 'KRA Registered' before allowing transactions. The Exchange provides reconciliation files and reports to assist members in maintaining data integrity. Notably, effective July 24, 2026, the 'Client Status' module in UCI-Online will no longer support changing client status from 'Inactive' to 'Active'. Members must instead use the 'Query Client', 'New Client Bulk Upload' modules, or the 'Client Profiling API' for such updates. The module remains available for other status transitions.
