To All Market Participants,
Sub: Implementation of 1600 series number by Investor Services Centre for outbound calls to Investors.
All market participants are requested to note that w.e.f August 15, 2026, the Investor Service Centres of the Exchange and the Defaulter department, shall henceforth be calling from a dedicated number i.e. 1600322410. This number is intended only for initiating outbound calls; and participants will not be able to call or send messages to us using this number.
Participants should continue using Exchange Toll free number 1800 266 0050 for contacting the Exchange departments.
Market participants are advised NOT to disclose any Personal Information such as PAN, Aadhaar, Bank account details, Card details, Login ID, Login Passwords or One-Time Passwords over the calls.
This initiative aims to help investors easily identify official calls from the NSE Investor Services Centre and differentiate them from potentially fraudulent or impersonation calls. Through this initiative, we seek to promote safer investor communication, build trust and awareness, and empower investors to stay alert and protect themselves from fraud.
