The National Stock Exchange of India is discontinuing existing market data broadcast parameters in the Futures & Options segment. This follows the introduction of new parameters to support a change in the data type for token-level cumulative volume from a 4-byte Unsigned Integer to an 8-byte LONG. Members using the Non-NEAT Facility (NNF) must migrate to the new broadcast parameters. The exchange has concluded the coexistence phase, and the existing parameters will be discontinued effective September 5, 2026. No further extensions to this timeline will be granted. Members are advised to review the provided annexures for the specific parameters being discontinued and the new parameters required for migration, and to ensure their infrastructure is adequately sized for the updated feeds.

Market Data – Discontinuation of Existing Broadcast Parameters in Futures & Options Segment
This is in reference to Exchange circular NSE/MSD/74133 dated May 08, 2026 and NSE/MSD/74448 dated May 27, 2026 regarding ‘Market data- new broadcast parameters in Futures & Options segment’.
In the aforesaid circular, Exchange introduced new broadcast parameters for market data in F&O segment for implementing changes in data type for token level cumulative volume (total traded volume) from “Unsigned Integer” (4 bytes) to “LONG” (8 bytes). Further, Exchange also informed to provide a coexistence phase for receiving broadcast from both existing and new parameters, after which Exchange would discontinue the existing broadcast parameters.
Accordingly, members using NNF are required to note the following discontinuation date of coexistence period i.e. discontinuation of existing market data broadcast parameters. Thus, kindly migrate to new market data broadcast parameters before the deadline. No further extension shall be provided on the timelines below.
