What changed
The National Stock Exchange of India Limited will provide a separate market making compliance file for SME scrips traded in the Periodic Call Auction Session (PCAS) market. This file will be available to members on an hourly basis on the Extranet path. The Exchange will now disseminate two separate files, one for the Normal Market and one for the PCAS Market. Members must continue to follow all market maker obligations and responsibilities as defined by SEBI and the Exchange. The bid offer spread for securities remains available in the daily Security.txt file on the Extranet.

Sub: Market making compliance file dissemination - Update
This is with reference to Exchange circular nos. NSE/SME/MEM/21427 dated August 06, 2012, NSE/SURV/69471 dated August 04, 2025, NSE/SURV/69587 dated August 08, 2025, and the consolidated circular no. NSE/CMTR/73927 dated April 28, 2026 (Item no. 1.12 ‘Small & Medium Enterprises (SME)’ => Para I. ‘Market making compliance file dissemination’ at Page no. 33).
As members are aware, Exchange disseminates market making compliance file to the members on Extranet path (/cmftp/Onlinebackup) on an hourly basis which contains the data for SME scrips traded in ‘Normal Market’ only, which was informed to members vide Exchange circular nos. NSE/SURV/69471 dated August 04, 2025, and NSE/SURV/69587 dated August 08, 2025.
In our continuous endeavour to improve the member experience, the Exchange is pleased to announce that a separate market making compliance file containing the data for SME scrips traded in ‘Periodic Call Auction Session (PCAS) Market’ shall also be provided to the members on an hourly basis w.e.f. November 02, 2026.
The said file will be disseminated on Extranet path (/cmftp/Onlinebackup) and shall contain the following headers:

Members are requested to note that Exchange shall now disseminate two separate market making compliance file(s) to the members on Extranet path (/cmftp/Onlinebackup) on an hourly basis as under:

Members may also note that the defined bid offer spread for the respective security shall continue to be published daily by the Exchange in the ‘Security.txt’ file available on extranet path in ‘common/ntneat’ folder (refer Sr. No. 47 - field name - “MMSpread” in ‘Annexure 1 - Structure of security.txt & nnf_security.dat’ of ‘Part – D - Format of various reports and files provided by the Exchange’ mentioned in the consolidated circular no. NSE/CMTR/73927 dated April 28, 2026).
