Mock trading from BCP/DR site on Saturday, August 22, 2026

Exchange shall be conducting a mock trading session on Saturday, August 22, 2026 from BCP site. The mock will be followed by a re-login session from Primary site in order to avoid login problems on Monday, August 24, 2026. The schedule of the mock trading is as follows:

Members are required to perform the following:

• For connecting to Primary/DR site, no changes in NEAT Adapter settings are required. Settings of live session as of Friday, August 21, 2026 in NEAT Adapter shall be retained to connect to all the above sessions of Primary/DR site.

• Members are requested to note that Exchange shall shift its operation from primary site to DR site during the mock session and it shall be a non-graceful shutdown from the primary site. In case of such event necessary action should be taken at member's end as stated in circular NSE/MSD/48662 dated June 18, 2021 to bring their systems into a consistent state.

• All the outstanding orders shall be purged before the start of trading from BCP site. Members using NNF software should clear the outstanding orders of session 1 in their systems before trading from BCP site.

The respective EXE and master files are available for download in the NSE EXTRANET path mentioned below:

Pre-requisites:

• Application will support OS – Upto Windows 10
• Redistributable package should be downloaded from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145 and installed on Desktop system before installing Neat EGR TWS exe
  • For 32 bit system - vc_redist.x86.exe
  • For 64 bit system - vc_redist.x64.exe
• Recommended resolution for NeatPlusEGR TWS is 1024 X 768

Installation:

• Download the setup file ‘NEATEGTWSSetup.exe’ to your hard disc in the root directory (i.e. C:\ or D:\ or E:).
• Go to the drive where NEATEGTWSSetup.exe is copied.
• Double click on the NEATEGTWSSetup.exe.
• The files will be extracted with the window pop up ‘NEATPlusEG Installer 1.0.0: Extracting Files’.
• It will be followed by ‘NEAT-EGR Version 1.0.0 Installer’ pop up window. Installation drive (where application will be installed) will be C: by default.
• The user can change the default installation drive to any other local drives (e.g. D: or E:)
• Click on ‘Install’ button on this pop-up window and follow the installation instructions.
• Message of successful installation will be displayed once the complete application is installed.
• The user can run NEAT-EG TWS application by double clicking on either of the following: a. NEAT-EG TWS shortcut icon created on the desktop. b. NEAT-EG TWS entry in the ‘Programs’ sub-menu of the ‘Start’ menu. c. NEAT-EG.exe located in the NEATEGDB-TWS directory in the installation drive.

Updating the new version with latest data:

• Download following files from NSE EXTRANET path egftp/egcommon/ntneat onto the logon drive:
  1. security_eg.gz
  2. participant_eg.gz
• Unzip the above files
• From the log on screen click on the “UPLOAD” button to update contracts and participants details.

Annexure – 5

Important guidelines in case of switchover of trading system to Disaster Recovery (DR) Site

1. Kindly note below points after switch over to DR site: a. Trades of primary site will be available in Previous Trades window. b. Trades can be modified/cancelled using Multiple Trade Modification and Cancellation window respectively. c. Messages of primary site will be available in TWS Message Area.
2. If user renames or deletes the User folder and re-login the NEAT terminal, then data of primary site shall not be available in the functional window as mentioned above point.
