The National Stock Exchange conducts a mock trading session in the Capital Market segment on September 05, 2026. This session supports the implementation of modifications to the pre-open call auction framework and new norms for Exchange Traded Funds. Members must use the new NEAT+ version 7.9.0 for this session. Members must download and load the updated master files from the extranet before the mock session. The Exchange will discontinue the existing NEAT+ version 7.8.9 on October 10, 2026. Members must participate in all trading sessions to ensure connectivity for live trading on September 07, 2026. Trades during the mock session do not create financial obligations.

Mock trading on Saturday, September 05, 2026 – Go Live of modification in the pre-open call auction framework and changes in the norms for Base Price, Price Bands, Call Auction in pre-open session for exchange traded fund (ETF’s) - New version of NEAT+ 7.9.0
Members are required to note that the below changes shall be effective in LIVE from September 05, 2026. Following circulars were issued by Exchange:

In continuation to circular (Download No. 71999) dated December 24, 2025, Exchange shall be conducting a mock trading session in the Capital Market segment on Saturday, September 05, 2026. In alignment with above changes, Exchange shall introduce a new NEATPlus version (7.9.0). It is recommended that members must use NEATPlus version 7.9.0 from September 05, 2026 for revised pre-open call auction framework.
