The National Stock Exchange of India Limited revises the expiry date parameters for Gold Mini Futures and Gold Mini Options on Futures. For Gold Mini Futures, the expiry date changes to the third last business day of the month. For Gold Mini Options on Futures, the expiry date changes to five business days before the first business day of the underlying futures contract tender period. These changes apply to contracts expiring in October 2026 and onwards. Existing contracts will be pre-matured at the end of the day on October 01, 2026. Trading members must update the co_contract.gz file from the NSE Extranet before trading on October 05, 2026. The staggered delivery period for October 2026 futures contracts also changes.

Modification in the contract parameters of Gold Mini Futures and Gold Mini Options on Futures
Members are requested to note that the following parameters of the Gold Mini Futures and Gold Mini Options on Futures are being revised as below:
| Contract | Existing expiry date | Revised expiry date |

| Gold Mini Futures | 5th day of contract expiry month. | |
| If 5th day is a holiday then preceding working day. | 3rd last business day of the month. | |
| If 3rd last business day day is a domestic or international holiday then preceding working day. | ||
| Gold Mini Options on Futures | Three business days prior to the first business day of Tender Period of the underlying futures contract | Five business days prior to the first business day of Tender Period of the underlying futures contract |
The above modifications in the Gold Mini Futures and Gold Mini Options on Futures shall be applicable from October 05, 2026, in the contracts expiring in October 2026 and onwards. The revised expiry dates are provided as an annexure to this circular.
Trading members are requested to note that the existing Gold Mini Futures and Gold Mini Options on Futures contracts shall be pre-matured on EOD of October 01, 2026. Trading members are requested to upload the latest co_contract.gz file available on NSE Extranet (Path: /comtftp/comtcommon) before trading on October 05, 2026.
The staggered delivery period for Gold Mini October 2026 futures contracts shall also be revised as per the revised expiry date of Gold Mini October 2026 futures contracts.
