NSE Clearing Limited implements OTP based Two Factor Authentication for NCMS-FO user logins. This requirement applies to Admin and Sub users. Members must download and install the new EXE version 4.2.5 from the member Extranet. Upon the first login, users must register their mobile number and email address. The system sends an OTP to these registered details for authentication. Users must enter the valid OTP to complete the login process. If a user enters four invalid OTPs, the system disables the user ID. In such cases, the member must contact NSE Clearing Limited for assistance. The new version becomes available on 12 September 2026. The Two Factor Authentication requirement becomes effective on 15 September 2026.

- Register mobile number and email ID during the first login.

THE USER MANUAL OF OTP BASED 2FA
- Member will have to insert login Credentials on NCMS-FO log in page

- After password validation, for the first time login registration window will pop up forcefully. Member will register with mobile number and email Id.

- After successful registration, OTP will send on registered mobile number and email Id.

After entering valid OTP, log in will be successful.

In case of invalid OTP entered, error will be displayed and OTP can be regenerated after 30 seconds-

- In case of 4 invalid OTP entered, user ID will be disabled, and member needs to connect with NSE Clearing Ltd.

Sub: NCMS - OTP based Two Factor Authentication and upgradation of NCMS version
In order to enhance the security measures, NSE Clearing Ltd shall be implementing OTP based Two Factor Authentication (2FA) for user login in NCMS- FO (Admin user as well as Sub users).
Members are requested to note that a new EXE version of 4.2.5 will be made available with effect from 12-Sep-2026.
Two Factor Authentication (2FA) shall be implemented w.e.f 15-Sep-2026 for user login on NCMS-FO. The user manual of OTP based 2FA is provided in Annexure 1.
